The Lost Island Adventure: The Defeat of the Creature (part 4)

The group hurriedly searched for a suitable location to set up the trap, keeping an eye out for any signs of the creature. They finally came across a narrow ravine with steep walls on either side.

Jack looked at the ravine and nodded. "This is it," he said. "We'll lead the creature into the ravine and then collapse the walls on either side, trapping it inside."

The group quickly got to work, digging a small trench in the ground and lining it with sharp stakes. They also gathered large boulders and placed them on the top of each wall, ready to be pushed over when the creature was inside.

As they finished setting up the trap, they could hear the creature getting closer. They took up their positions, ready to lure it into the ravine.

The creature appeared, its eyes fixed on the group. It charged forward, its massive body shaking the ground beneath their feet.

The group split up, running in different directions to try and lure the creature towards the trap. Jack took the lead, running towards the ravine with the creature hot on his heels.

As he reached the edge of the ravine, he turned and sprinted towards the other side, hoping to get the creature to follow him.

The plan worked. The creature charged towards Jack, its claws outstretched. Just as it was about to pounce, Jack leapt to safety, and the creature fell into the ravine.

The group watched as the walls collapsed on either side, trapping the creature inside. They cheered and hugged each other, relieved that the creature was finally defeated.

But their celebration was short-lived. As they turned to head back to camp, they heard a loud roar coming from deep within the jungle.

To be continued...
