Once upon a time, there was a little star who lived in the sky.
She was the smallest star in the whole sky, and she was always feeling lost and alone.
One day, the little star was feeling particularly sad. She looked down at the Earth,
and she saw all the other stars, planets, and moons. They all seemed so big and important,
and she felt so small and insignificant.
"Why am I so small?" she asked herself. "Why can't I be big and important like the other
stars?"
The little star started to cry. She cried and cried until her tears fell down to Earth.
A little girl was playing in the park below. She saw the tears falling from the sky,
and she went to investigate.
"What's wrong?" she asked the little star.
The little star told the little girl how she felt. The little girl listened patiently, and then she said,
"You're not small or insignificant. You're perfect just the way you are."
The little star smiled. "Really?" she asked.
"Yes, really," said the little girl. "You're the only little star in the whole sky, and that makes you
special. You're a one-of-a-kind star."
The little star felt much better after talking to the little girl.
She realized that she didn't need to be big and important to be special.
She was perfect just the way she was.
The little star and the little girl became friends. They would often meet in the park,
and they would talk about all sorts of things. The little star was no longer sad,
and she knew that she was loved and accepted just the way she was.
