They had been on a cruise ship, enjoying their family vacation when a freak storm hit, causing the ship to capsize. The Johnsons, along with a few other survivors, managed to make it to a lifeboat and eventually found themselves stranded on the island.
It had been two days since they washed up on the shore, and the family was running out of food and water. They had managed to scavenge some fruits and coconuts from the island, but it wasn't enough to sustain them for long.
As the sun began to set, Mr. Johnson tried to start a fire with some twigs and dried leaves, but it was too windy, and the flames wouldn't catch. Mrs. Johnson tried to keep the children calm, but they were scared and hungry.
Suddenly, they heard a rustling sound coming from the bushes. Mr. Johnson stood up, ready to defend his family, but it was just a small pig. He quickly caught it and brought it back to the makeshift camp.
Using a knife that he had found in the lifeboat, he managed to skin and clean the pig, and they finally had something to eat. It wasn't much, but it was enough to keep them alive for a little while longer.
As they sat around the fire, eating their meager meal, they knew that they had to find a way to survive on the island. They had to find a source of freshwater and shelter before it was too late.
